Excellent food! I had the Chile Rellenos and wife had the Enchiladas. Both were superb! No lunch specials available but I think the food quality is more important than getting a deal. I would recommend visiting for sure.
If your looking for authentic mexican tacos this spot has them. The meat is cooked just right, not much fat and a good taste. Nice thick double tortilla so it won't get soggy when the lime and hot sauce is added, it comes with different sauces to add and a chile toreado that gives it the extra touch. They're not the ordinary street tacos since they're a bit bigger in size but with a great taste.
Place was nice and clean. Nice ambience. Stopped in for a quick lunch before going to the airport. I ordered a chicken chimichanga meal. Food was flavorful. I am the kind of person that Luke's salty food and for food that I don't have to add salt, then it passes my taste test. Great job, chef! I wish they had tamales today but I am glad with my selection. Highly recommend and very reasonable prices.
Absolutely will be my favorite Mexican restaurant ever .Food was so authentic. I got the Steak and chorizo quesadilla and the hubs got a Burritos thingy I cannot remember the name but wow it was great. Definitely go back!
Hands down, thee best nachos and salsa and tacos I've ever tasted. The red and green sauce .....basically, they know what they are doing with their salsa and sauces. And it is unique. I will be back to try other menu items. The lady that rung me up was very helpful. I will be back! I just had to repeat that. I am glad I wasn't able to go where I originally intended to go.
This place is the real deal! Hands down, the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Birmingham. We ordered one of each taco on the menu and our bill came to 40. Not only will we be back, but I am determined to try everything on the menu.
This places is amazing. Whenever I have the desire to eat home country food I come to Taco Morro Loco. The people are always very friendly and the owners, if they are around, are very friendly and always asking if everything is ok. You should come and enjoy hood Mexican food in Avondale !
Fast, friendly service, with the best Mexican cuisine I've had in Birmingham. The chips are fresh, the salsa is homemade, and the food is made with passion and flair. I see myself spending too much time and money here as long as I live nearby. Don't be put off by the cheap furnishings and location next to a gas station. It looks a bit sketchy, but what comes out of the kitchen should put your mind to rest.
